Activity 1.2

To support and improve the positive trend in increasing its energy efficiency, in 2018, Turkey drafted its National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP). The total investment amount of projects supported by the European Union in line with its targets against climate change is € 15 Million, which is allocated over selected actions. Actions about the utilization of low-carbon energy technologies by public utilities addressed under IPA II. The consultancy services provided by VAENER is part of the supporting actions taken by this plan.

The purpose of Activity 1.2 is to develop pilot renewable energy and energy efficiency applications on different sites at facilities/buildings of municipalities, their subsidiaries, and municipal service providers for self-consumption purposes. VAENER has developed Solar PV projects with a total capacity of 3,43MWP for municipalities of Adıyaman, Isparta, and Sivas.
